Data and Forecast Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst - Supply Chain in our Troy, Ohio facility.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
• Finished goods inventory planning and deployment.

• Aged and excess inventory management.

• Service level, efficiency, and cost reduction analysis.

• Control Distribution Center/Plant stock levels in appropriate quantities, in order to minimize investment affecting storage cost, handling and obsolescence while utilizing acceptable techniques including ABC analysis, economical order quantities, and other principles of inventory control.

• Root cause and ensure set ups and planning tools are correct and efficient for replenishment planning.

• Work with production to schedule plant requirements to fulfill stock and special requirements in the most efficient way.

• Evaluates forecasts and net demand to determine production requirements and scheduling deadlines.

• Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential capacity/manufacturing constraints.

• Problem solves issues within the planning system.

• A four year Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required.

• Experience in planning, scheduling, inventory and production/materials scheduling preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to interface at all levels of the organization and work in a fast paced environment.

• Advanced computer skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
