Entry Level Payroll Processor

We have an excellent opportunity for an Entry Level Payroll Processor at our Troy, Ohio manufacturing location.


In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:


1. Processing bi-weekly payroll for all hourly employees.


2. Apply pay guidelines based upon approved procedures to produce timely and accurate pay.


3. Monitor and oversee the integrity of pay using established guidelines and procedures.


4. Establish, maintain and control payroll records.


5. Respond timely to payroll issues and/or questions.


6. Keep up-to-date on legal changes.


7. Develop and implement improvements to payroll processing procedures.


The successful candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:



  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Prefer experience with Human Resources or Accounting.

  • Must be a problem solver and critical thinker.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
