Senior Accountant

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant in our Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
€ Month end closing responsibilities including reconciling accounts, reporting and analyzing variances to budget and forecast, and generating closing entries and reports.


€ Perform tasks associated with the capital process including reviewing capital project requests, identifying obsolescence and project expenses, preparing financial justification, and ensuring timely creation of assets.


€ Assist with the development and management of standard costs for all BPC facilities.


€ Inventory control and reconciliation, including reviewing or auditing the adherence to cycle count procedures, participating in inventories and reconciling inventory transactions.


€ Assist with the plant internal and external financial and operational audits and address any audit findings with the Plant Controller.



  • Bachelors' degree in Accounting. CPA or CMA a plus.



  • Minimum of three years' prior financial or cost accounting experience.



  • Oracle ERP Applications experience is highly desirable.



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
